These conditions are necessary to ensure the well-being of our valued guests and the orderly
running of Monte Cristo Country Manor:
1. Reservations:
By making a booking the terms and conditions herein contained are deemed to have been read
and accepted. The client in whose name the booking is made undertakes liability for all
bills incurred by his/her/ their guests or invitees.
Reservations should be made well in advance of the required date to avoid disappointment
and will be taken telephonically as well as online. All bookings are subject to our
published terms and conditions. Online bookings and enquiries will be replied to by
either an owner or employee of Monte Cristo Country Manor confirming the date(s) of the
booking and all other arrangements. A 50% deposit is required upfront . No bookings will
be accepted until the deposit has been received unless otherwise arranged with the
management of Monte Cristo Country Manor. On receipt of the deposit, confirmation of the
booking will be sent. The balance of the booking value (50%) is to be paid apon departure.
Weddings and similar social functions shall attract a non refundable deposit of R2000-00.
Guests can check-in anytime between the hours of 12.00 and 16.00. Late arrivals by
arrangement only. The check-out time is 11.00. Later check-outs will be charged for
unless otherwise arranged with reception.
2. Cancellation:
More than 30 days before arrival full refund
Between 30 days and a week before arrival 10% deposit retained.
7 days to day of arrival 50% deposit retained.
The cancellation policy can be reviewed at the discretion of the owner.
3. Payment:
Initial 50% deposit to be made by electronic transfer with the booking being confirmed
once payment has been received.
Balance to be paid apon departure.

4. Liability / Disclaimer:
Monte Cristo Country Manor, the owner(s) of the property, its employees, servants and
agents are not liable to you, the client, the clients guests or invitees for any loss,
damage, injury or death suffered by you or your client/guests/invitees on or about the
premises of Monte Cristo Country Manor howsoever arising including but not limited to
theft, whether resulting from any act or omission whether negligent or not on the part of
Monte Cristo Country Manor, the owner(s) of the property, its employees, servants and/or
agents.
You, your clients, guests or invitees irrevocably waive all such claims and
further indemnify and hold harmless Monte Cristo Country Manor, the owner(s) of the
property, its employees, servants and/or agents against any claim made against the above
by your guests or invitees or any of them. Without limiting the aforegoing Monte Cristo
Country Manor, the owner(s) of the property, its employees, servants and/or agents are
not liable for any injury to or death of anyone that may occur as a result of the use of
the swimming pool, main deck and garden deck or any other cause, accidental or otherwise
whilst on the property and you indemnify them accordingly.
